Kids and Baby First Aid - a short course for expecting parents and care givers of kids!

Designed to give parents and carers’ skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver first aid for common child-related injuries and illnesses.

Our courses cover the most common household emergencies that involve children. eg. Choking, burns, drowning, factures, bleeding, and poisoning.

• Basic Life Support - DRSABCD
• Performing CPR
• Special techniques for children and infants
• Breathing emergencies including choking and asthma
• Allergies
• Drowning
• Fits and Fevers
• Fractures and Bleeding
• Common childhood illnesses

You will be able to have hands on practice dealing with some of the common child emergencies. 

In addition, you will have an opportunity to ask questions of our experienced trainers who are all healthcare professions (nurse, ambulance officers and paramedics) who deal with kids emergencies on a daily basis. 

Duration: 2 hours
